Titled Druid Dreams of the Danaka, the show consists of paintings, watercolors and drawings inspired by Celtic myths and the ancient Indian epic, The Ramayana. On Thursday, April 16, I'll talk a bit, my mother will read from her new book of poems, and there will be a musical ensemble. This is my 6th solo show in NYC, and my first at this gallery, so I'm quite excited.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. All of this sounds quite interesting. When I'm done with the madness of my move, about mid month, I'll do my best to get to this show. I would also not mind finding out more about these traditional things, and how they inspire this painter of "Turneresque tempests."
